My 2020 Goals

Happy New Year Everyone!! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year break. I had a lovely time back in Scotland with all my family and friends but I am now happy to be back in London and ready to get back to work and into a good routine.

I wanted to share my 2020 goals with you today, which is normally always my first blog post of the year, but before I get into sharing what I want to achieve and focus on this year, I thought I would quickly reflect on 2019 and the goals I made for last year to see if I achieved them...

I actually had an amazing 2019, I feel like it was such a busy year and I ended the year feeling super happy and in such a positive place. I am so grateful and happy for everything I have in my life right now.

I did manage to achieve some of my goals that I set for the year, for example my main fitness goal last year was to run a 10k again, which I did back in October and absolutely loved it and another one was to start saving properly and open a help to buy ISA last year which I also managed to achieve. However there were also a few goals that I didn't manage to complete too. My travel goal last year was to visit Thailand and that did not happen and I also had a lot of blog goals last year that I didn't really stick too. I think that it is important to remember some goals often take longer than one year to work towards and achieve and that is okay, so I am not giving myself a hard time over it.

As I said above, 2019 was an amazing year for me and I have a feeling that 2020 will be just as good. I feel really excited and positive about this year and can't wait to see what it has in store...


My main goals for the year generally are focused around improving my fitness, saving money and making some lifestyle changes to help the environment.

Some specific goals I would love to achieve are:

- Run A Half Marathon

- Train With A PT

- Hit My 2020 Savings Goal

- Eat Less Meat

- Improve My Photography Skills

- Read 10 Books


My main goal for my blog and Instagram is to be more consistent, posting frequently and pushing myself out of my comfort zone a bit more.

Some specific goals I would love to achieve are:

- Hit 10k followers on Instagram

- Create Video Content on Instagram

- Post On My Blog Once A Week

I hope you found this post interesting. To be honest, I am not sure these type of posts are the most popular but I personally love writing them and setting myself these goals for the year, something to strive towards no matter how big or small they may be. I think it is always nice to have them to look back on at the end of the year to reflect on too. I will also be reviewing my goals monthly to make sure I am on track for the end of the year, which I find really helps to keep focused.
