MY 2019 GOALS.

I love setting goals at the start of the year. Something to strive towards, no matter how small or big they may be. As much as goal setting can be very personal, I do love writing and sharing them on my blog as sharing them almost makes me more motivated to achieve them. I think it is always nice to look back on them at the end of the year to reflect on too. Now, I am not saying that I always tick off every goal on my list, but at least trying to counts right?

I am forever wishing I wish I was a gym bunny. This year I am trying to get into more of a fitness routine which I have already started implementing. Instead of setting a my goal as 'go to the gym more', I prefer to make really specific measurable ones that I can almost tick off as I go and add to as they year progresses too.

1. Run Two 10k's This year (One in Spring and Once in Autumn)
2. Join Class Pass For January (to try new classes like Barre and Hot Yoga)
3. Cycle To Work At Least 4 Out Of 5 days A Week

Top Tip: A good way to measure fitness goals is to create a simple tracker in your notebook to then tick off how many workout's you do in a week.

A major goal of mine this year is to save money. I have set myself a target for the year and I aim to review how I am getting on monthly to track my progress. I am really bad at saving money and living in London does make it quite difficult, but I am going to try my very best!

1. Transfer Money to Savings Account Monthly
2. Open A Help To Buy ISSA (I will need to get on the property ladder one day)

I have one main travel goal this year and that is to visit Thailand for two weeks with my boyfriend. It is somewhere I have always wanted to go and would be an absolute dream holiday for us. We are hoping to book for September time, depending on how well our saving goes.

1. Have A Holiday In Thailand

Do you have any amazing trips planned this year? I would love to know!

I feel like last year I kind of drifted along posting on my blog and Instagram irregularly and with no real driver or effort. I felt disappointed at the end of the year with myself. 2019 I am going to really push myself, to post more frequently, to be more creative, to step outside my comfort zone and I am so excited about it.

1. Share A Photo On My Instagram Every Second Day
2. Post On my Blog Once A Week
3. Hit 5k followers on Instagram
4. Meet Up With Some Fellow Bloggers
5. Attend Some More Events

I have two other things that I really want to start to do, that I am a bit nervous for if I am honest. One is to speak on Instagram stories. I don't know why this terrify's me so much, but I need to just get over it and try it out. I literally have nothing to loose. The second one is to make some IGTV content, maybe a Lookbook, maybe a how to style video. We shall see...

I have a few other random ones that don't really fit under a specific category, which are...

1. Complete Dry January (It is going well so far)
2. Eat Less Meat & Limit Eating Red Meat To Once A Month
3. Donate To A Charity Every Month
4. Read At Least 3 Books

Top Tip: It is a good idea to review your goals at the end of each month so you can track your progress and also set any new ones too!

I am feeling so positive and excited about 2019 and what it may have in store. I have a feeling that it is going to be a great year, and I truly hope it is for you all too!

Let me know what your goals for 2019 are? I would love to know!

  2. These are great goals - good luck with them! My main goal this year is the post consistently on my blog x

    1. That is a great goal! Hope you stick to it :) xx

  3. The most noteworthy things about this post are the precedents. I can identify with all that you've expounded on.
