The Good Life Eatery

'The Good Life Salad'
'The Goodness Bowl'
'Avocado Chilli Toast'
Last Week I was in London for the weekend and my friends and I headed to The Good Life Eatery whilst in Chelsea. I had heard of this place through social media, such as Instagram from the likes of Millie MacIntosh and Tanya Burr and thought it looked amazing! I am a big foodie, I love all the foods especially super healthy food so I was really excited to try this place out and it did not disappoint. There menu is very catered towards a gluten free, dairy free and vegan diet and although it was slightly on the expensive side, the food was delicious, super fresh, and I definitely felt like my body received enough vitamins to last me for the rest of the year (haha). I had 'The Good Life Salad', which was Kale, Black and Red Quinoa, Puy Lentils, Sweet Potato, Toasted Walnuts, Goji Berries topped with Orange Tahini Vinaigrette. I had never had half these ingredients before, not even Kale, but I really enjoyed it, it was super tasty. The portion size for the salads are huge and they are super filling, so I only managed to finish half of it. My flatmate Rachael had 'The Goodness Bowl', which was kind of a bit of everything, including a Lentil Salad, a Spelt Salad, Caramelized Onion Hummous, Avocado, Zuchinni Fettuccini (basically pesto courgetti) and Sweet Potato Falafel. This salad was probably the better one to go for as you got to try lots of different little salads, we all had a taste and it was delicous. My friend Hannah had the 'Avocado Chilli Toast', which was a little on the small side portion wise, but she said it was lovely and it certainly looked amazing too!

We also all had healthy smoothies, which were incredible, even the green one I promise! I had 'The Hulk', which was a green smoothie with Wheatgrass, Spirulina, Raw Almonds, Coconut Milk, Pineapple, Banana, Madagascar Vanilla and Fresh Basil, I think it was also topped with Bee Pollen and it tasted amazing. Rachael had the 'Berry Sunrise', which was Blackberries, Blueberries, Banana, Almond Milk, Raw Almonds and Honey. I tried it and it also tasted amazing. Then Hannah had the 'CocoButter', which was Coconut Milk, Coconut Water, Organic Peanut Butter, Dates and Madagascar Vanilla. This one was the sweetest out of all of them and kind of tasted more like a milkshake and if you love peanut butter like me, this one is for you! We also got some 'Raw Peanut Butter Cups' to take-away, basically a healthy, raw ingredient version of Reese's Piecess, which were also heavenly.

Writing this has made me hungry. I wish I didn't live so far away from London so I could go more often, as it really was incredible food! I want to go back already and try something else from the menu. If you do ever go, I suggest going for an early or late lunch as it is quite a small place, maybe with about 20 seats, so it gets very busy. We went about 2.30pm and it was a perfect time. I know this kind of 'super super' healthy food isn't for everyone but hopefully some people will enjoy reading! :)

Have you ever been to the Good Life Eatery? Do you think you would like it as much as me?
