Pink Booties #PDBAE

'Trisha Ankle Boots in Nude Faux Suede'

I am so in love with my new pink booties from Public Desire. I have become a lil bit obsessed with pastel pinks / blush shades at the moment and when I seen these shoes on Instagram last week, I umm'd and ahhh'd for a few days before caving and purchasing. They just had to be mine. They are a gorgeous suede material and conveniently have an elasticated side making them super flexible around the ankle when wearing them. The heel is the perfect height and block heels are my absolute favourite because they just make wearing heeled boots so darn comfy. I am excited to style these up for a blog post next week, so watch out for that coming on Wednesday!

What do you think of these boots? How would you style them up?

Striped Culottes

Top - River Island (similar)
Culottes - Bershka
Boots - ASOS
Bag - Topshop
Jacket - Miss Selfridge

I am finally back with another outfit post, yaaay! I have wanted to blog this beautiful kimono style top for ages and I am excited that I finally managed to take some snaps of it last weekend with my new striped culottes that I am obsessed with.

I am kind of new to wearing culottes. I have tried a lot of different ones on and had to shop around for a while before I found the perfect fit. For me, these ones from Bershka nailed it. I struggle with high waisted trousers a lot of the time because I have a small waist and wider hips slash big bum problems. These fit perfectly! I am so happy that I think I am going to go back and get the exact same ones but in a burnt orange colour, as it is just so rare to get such an amazing fit. Although they look black & white in the photos, they are actually navy & white, which I think looks really classic and timeless.

I am so into this top right now too! I love the tie-side detail, adding something interesting to an otherwise plain blouse. This added dimension to the top, creates a more layered look and I also find the tie-side detail around the waist extremely flattering. I am tempted to get it in another colour, deffo eye-ing up the pink one (see links below). It is quite a smart top and is perfect for dressing up in the evenings, or to wear to work. But I also think it works really well teaming it with some culottes for a more casual look.

I wore my little snakeskin boots from ASOS that I wear all the time and although it causes a bit of a print clash, I think it works?! I threw on my standard leather jacket and my classic saddle bag from Topshop and I was ready to spend my Saturday in central with my flatmates.

Are you newbie to wearing culotte's too? What do you think of this look?

The Farm Girl Cafe, Notting Hill | London Eats

Farm Girl Cafe59a Portobello Road, London W11 3DB

Today I wanted to share a little brunch spot that I fell in love with down Portabello Road in Notting Hill.

If you know me well, (or follow me on Instagram), you will know of my love for brunch. Why brunch is just so darn good, I don't know but it just is okay. The novelty of eating breakfast/lunch together at one time will never get old.

I went to the Farm Girl Cafe back in December with my lovely friend Suzy after a stroll around Notting Hill. The Farm Girl Cafe pride themselves on fresh, organic ingredients and their menu is definitely on the healthier side. Suzy ordered the Berry Pancakes and I ordered Avocado on Toast with a side of scrambled eggs. We also ordered the fruit bowl to share.

The Pancakes were made with homemade buckwheat and topped with amber maple syrup, fresh berries and coconut shavings, also accompanied by coconut yogurt. I tried Suzy's pancakes and they were incredible, super soft and fluffy, utterly perfect and a bonus that they are kind of healthy! The avocado toast was made with lemon juice, black pepper, coriander and topped with pomegranate. It was slightly weird having crunchy avocado but the flavours worked well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You could just tell all the ingredients were so fresh, which was amazing.

Although slightly on the pricey side, the portions were huge and the food was delicious, so it was definitely worth it! This cafe has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere and I would highly recommend heading here on the weekend for brunch. I think I would like to go back specifically for lunch and try some of the other yummy options on the menu. When we were there we sat inside as it was too cold to sit outside, but I am excited to go back sometime and sit outside in the sunshine when the weather warms up as the seating area outside is so, so cute too.

Have you been to the Farm Girl Cafe before? I would love to know if you have tried anything else on the menu!?

Until Next Time,

Spring Fashion Wishlist

Summer is coming ladies and I can't be the only one getting excited about summer clothes! Culottes, bomber jackets and pink tones are on my current lust list, so I thought I would share some of my top Spring Style picks from the high street and put a lil 'Spring Fashion Wishlist' together today...

I need the 'girl gang' top in my life, but it is currently sold out on ASOS. I am praying it comes back in stock soon. I also have just ordered the cute little Accessorize floral bag above, as I had a voucher from my birthday to use, I am so excited for it to arrive. Denim culottes are definitely on my next to buy list :)

I would love to know what things will you be picking up for your Spring wardrobe?
