I am finally back to posting outfit pictures on my blog and I am excited about it! Last Sunday my flatmate Maddie and I headed out for a fun day visiting my friend Erica in her new crib. We got some yummy coffee on the way over and she took some outfit snaps for me. She may or may not have had to sit on the road to take photo's of my boots, that is true friendship right there (thaaanks babes).

So...most of my wardrobe consists of black. I literally wear all black most day's of my life, no shame. Therefore this 'Best in Black' Tee from ASOS is a very good representation of my wardrobe. I teamed it with my black, suede, button up A-line skirt, which is a new addition from Stradivarius. They are a Spanish brand who have recently ventured into the UK and are opening a store on Oxford Street very soon, which is extremely exciting! A-line skirts are my thing. I find they really suit my body shape and I have built up quite a little collection now. I then threw a staple leather jacket over the top and accessorised with my cute, little saddle bag from Topshop, which I actually spoke more about it in my last post 'My Handbag Essentials. But finally, the star of the show. My Snakeskin Boots. These absolute beauties. I got them in the sale last month from Mango and I am obsessed. I think they are the kind of boots that people will either love or hate, but they are totally up my street and I love them so much. They just glam up any outfit and I think they look so cool with an all black outfit. I also want to briefly mention the lipstick I am wearing here. It is 'Stone' from Mac and it is my current favourite lipstick, I absolutely love the colour and the look it gives.

What's In My Bag / Handbag Essentials

Bag: Topshop | Phonecase: Etsy | Card Holder: Accessorize | Mac Velvet Teddy Lipstick | Maybelline Lip Liner | Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer | Body Shop Lip Balm | Elizabeth and James Nirvana Perfume | Personalised Notebook

Today I wanted to share with you the newest bag addition to my wardrobe along with all the essentials I like to keep inside. This little cross-body, saddle style bag is from Topshop and I absolutely love it. It is so simplistic, with some definite Chloe style vibes going on and is just the perfect day bag size.

Now to share what essentials I have been keeping inside it...

Essential Number 1. My Phone: A bit self explanatory, I am not sure anyone in the 21st century leaves the house without their phone these days. I currently have the loveliest phone cover, that I ordered a while ago from ARTICECASE on Etsy. You can have a browse here if you like the style because they have so many lovely designs like this one. I love marble and pink, so that had me sold.

Essential Number 2. My Oyster Card: This is obviously an essential living in London, I use it every day of my life. I carry it in a cute card holder, which is V important for my card's welfare. (However unfortunately this card holder did not save my beloved Oyster card this weekend, when I managed to snap it in half, it was an emotional time). My friends bought me this teal coloured case from Accessorize when I first moved to London, which was super sweet of them.

Essential Number 3. Lip Products: I always have a Mac lipstick in my bag, sometimes numerous. It is an essential and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. If I have a lipstick, I tend to keep a lipliner in there too.

Essential Number 4. Lip Balm: Nobody wants to have dry lips ever, therefore I always keep a lip balm in my bag. This one from the Body Shop is strawberry scented and honestly smells good enough to eat. MmMmM...

Essential Number 5. Concealer: When your make-up starts to fall off your face half way through the day, you need to keep some concealer in your bag to top up your make-up and basically save your face. I also need this product in my person at all times to apply concealer to my lips like 'foundation lips' when they need it... no judging. I just hate the colour of my natural lips and need them to be concealed at all times. This is a strange habit that my 15 year old self never grew out of, sorry bout' it.

Essential Number 6. Perfume: I literally always forget to put perfume on in the morning's, so having a miniature sized perfume in my bag at all times is the way forward. This rollerball style perfume is from Elizabeth & James, which is actually Mary-Kate and Ashley's brand. I got it when I visited New York last year and it is the perfect handbag size and keeps me smelling divine.

Essential Number 7. A Notebook: I like to keep a notebook in my bag, just incase I want to scribble something down. I am a list writer, therefore this little notebook is full of random lists, that I have probably never completed, but keep none-the-less. My best friend Rachael actually got this for me for Christmas, it is personalised with my name, which I absolutely love. I think it's from Not On The High Street and it was such a cute present.

So there you have it, that is my handbag essentials. I would love if you left me a comment letting me know what your handbag essentials are too :)

Until next time, LRB x

Berlin Photo Diary

I have finally finished editing the mammoth amount of photo's I had from my trip to Berlin. I honestly had the most amazing week there and I hope you enjoy all my snaps...

I hope this post captured the different parts of the city. Berlin has so much culture and history, but it also has some amazing architecture and a really cool, young and modern feel to the city. Everything is so tidy and organised (weird observation) and I absolutely loved it there. If you are looking for a city break destination, I would really recommend Berlin.

Have you been to Berlin before? What did you think of it?
