New York | Photo Diary

Oh lord I am feeling guilty as I have not blogged in weeks! My dissertation took over and I didn't even have a moment to breathe. I am finally finished it and ready to get back into blogging again. I thought I would ease back in by posting some photo's I took on my recent trip to New York with my family. I took about a million photo's (mostly of yellow taxi's), so I have decided to dedicate this post to photo's of the city, and I am going to do more of a travel post next week with what I got up to when I was there. I went with my family for a week over Easter and it was such a fun week, New York is amazing. I had never been before and I loved it!
Looking through my photo's is making me want to go back!

Sephora Beauty Haul

I have waited to post this Sephora haul, until I actually had tried all the products first and then I totally forgot about it. So, 4 months later here we are! When I was in Paris back in November I of course had to take a trip to Sephora. Unfortunately it was not that good of an experience, as I went to the one on the Champs-Elysees on a Sunday and it was madness. It was crazy busy, too warm and you literally couldn't move in there. I was also slightly disappointed, as I wanted to get some things from Tarte Cosmetics and they didn't stock them in that store. I basically I kind of panic bought things to get out as quick as I could. I picked up a lot of mini's, as I only had hand luggage and wanted to try products I hadn't before.

Firstly I picked up the Sephora Kiss Me Balm's in Creme Brulee and Candy Apple. I love these, they are both super moisturising and I love the dark red colour of Candy Apple. These are a definite must have to get from Sephora, I am a bit obsessed with them and I guess these are kind of inspired by the EOS lip balms with the egg shape of them, which I really like.

This Sephora Nail Buffing Block has been extremely overused since I got it. It has 4 different sides, one side if for filing, one for buffing, one for polishing and finally one for shining. This nail block leaves your nails looking perfect and it is such a cheap product, and better than the Model's own one that I used to use all the time.

I love this Sephora Instand Eye Make-up Remover. Originally the colour made me a bit scared to try it but it is the best eye make-up remover I have ever used, it is honestly so soft on the eyes, it feels aaaamazing.

I got two moisturisers, the Sephora Instant Moisturiser, which I like to use in the evening and I also picked up the Clinique Skin Tone Correcter Mini Moisturiser, which I really like too. I tend to keep this mini for traveling, so I don't have to take a big moisturiser with me.

I also got some Sephora Bath Pearls, which I love adding to my baths as well as another bath bomb from Lush or something, they make the bath really moisturising and my favourite thing is that they make the bath (and me) glittery!

I also got the Sephora Honey Mask, which I haven't actually tried yet - whoops. Lastly I got some cute Mini Shower Gels in Peony, Strawberry and Coconut - they all smelled amazing, I wish I had got more.

I am heading to New York for the Easter holidays, so will be of course taking another trip to Sephora. What are your favourite products from Seophora? Do you have any recommendations?
