Accessorize Beauty: Nails

Nail Varnish Colours: Milkshake / Misty / Treasure

I have always loved Accessorize nail varnishes, ever since I worked their for two years, I always found there nail varnishes really affordable and they have such a huge range of amazing colours. I love collecting every colour of nail varnish possible. I am definitely a nail varnish lover. I have even reorganised the nail varnish display in Accessorize on a number of occasion to be colour co-ordinated haha. After recently interning in their head office, they gave me some goodies when I left including these nail varnishes. I absolutely love the packaging of these new nail varnishes, the shape of the bottles and the copper detail had me sold.

The pink nail varnish is called 'Milkshake', which is a lovely pastel pink that I actually gave to my friend as it is not my kind of nail colour. The gold nail varnish is called 'Treasure' and will be perfect to wear nearer Christmas for some festive nails, but my favourite colour out of the three is definitely 'Misty'. This is nail varnish is a muted grey colour and I have been wearing it so so much this month, I love it. Consistency wise, you do have to put a few layers as they are light shades, so it will take a few coats to build up to the desired colour.

Accessorize are actually offering 3 for 2 on their cosmetics right now which is amazing if you want to try some bits, you can shop the nails collection here :) I think I might heading to a store to get some more nail polish because I really want these shade's > Olive Garden & Bronze Leaf - so beaut!

Sunglasses - Quay Australia (Similar)

Autumn has officially arrived and with that the roll neck's are out. I love a roll neck, whether it is a roll neck top or jumper and I am obsessed with this oversized one from Primark. I know this is definitely going to be a staple in my autumn/winter wardrobe and it was such a bargain as well at only £12. I think teaming a camel jumper with an all black outfit works really well, super simple and chic. I wore this outfit into town on Thursday to have a browse round the shops and get my first ever Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks (so basic I know, but it was amazing). Even although it was pretty chilly, the sun was out so the sunglasses were necessary and I wore my favourite sunglasses ever from Quay.

My boyfriend took these photo's for me on his big expensive camera and I love how they turned out, the quality of them is wayyy better - if only I could steal his camera and use it all the time!

Do you love roll necks as much as me? What are your staples for this Autumn / Winter?

London Fashion Week Blogger Street Style Picks

I love this time of year, not only is it exciting seeing my favourite designers and brands showcasing their new collections for SS16, but the amount of style inspiration off the catwalk from fashion week attendee's and bloggers is amazing. So today's post I thought I would share some of my favourite looks from bloggers at London Fashion Week. I have chosen to focus on high street bloggers in this post, even although I also love high end bloggers, as to me these bloggers are more relatable and the clothes are much more attainable.

Denim Shirt - Topshop
White Jeans - American Eagle
Sandals - Forever 21 (now on sale)
Bag - Accessorize (similar)
I wore this outfit to a little bbq/ housewarming on Saturday and I think that will be the last BBQ of this summer *summer is over - cries*. Although it was still sunny, it was chilly, so long sleeves and jeans were a must, especially as I was sitting outside all evening. So I opted for this casual double denim look...

Double Denim, do you hate it or love it? I am definitely on the love it side of things. Denim has been a big trend for most of 2015, denim dresses, patchwork denim and double denim being the most prominent styles. This is a more toned down version of the double denim look, as I opted for white jeans to break it up a little. I love how simple this look is. Also, these white jeans are the comfiest I have ever owned, I got them from American Eagle when I was in New York in April and I am converted to their jeans for life now. I then accessorised this look with some sandals and my amazing leather, fringed bag from Accesorize - I am obsessed.

What do you think of this double denim look? Would you wear double denim?

Hannah's Beauty Picks

I think all girls are nosey when it comes to other peoples beauty stashes, so whilst I was staying with my friend Hannah recently in London, I asked her to share her all time favourite products with me. This is a great way to discover new products, that you know someone else uses and loves and you can trust their opinion. So here is Hannah's top 6 beauty products...
This product is beautiful, easy on the eye as they would say. It contains 4 different products, 3 of which are balms and one is a powder. Hannah says she uses the pinky one the most, down her nose, on her brow bone to give her eyebrows more definition and in the corner of her eyes to brighten them. The packaging is so nice and makes it look way more expensive than it is. This product is actually really affordable for a highlighting palette at just £10! She finds the mirror super handy and explains it does come with a little brush but she took it out as she doesn't tend to use it.
Mac Lipstick in Mandarin Garnet
This is Hannah's favourite lipstick ever and I can see why. It has the cutest rose gold packaging ever and it is such a gorgeous, vibrant matt coral colour. Hannah loves the colour and find's the staying power of this lipstick really good. This lipstick is a limited edition collaboration with Bao Bao Wan, so unfortunately it is unavailable now... *cries*...I want it!
Hannah exclaimed "this smells incredible" as she sprayed this product on her hair. I instantly agreed and was like, oh my god, it smells literally A-maaaazing! Honestly. It smells like coconut and kind of like the seaside. Who doesn't want their hair to smell like that? Hannah finds a lot of texturising sprays you have to use when your hair is wet before heat, where as this one you use after and it just holds your hair better, whilst giving you nice, natural beachy waves and basically giving your hair a bit of oomff really. I have never heard of this product or brand before, but she got it from Urban Outfitters and they also sell it on ASOS.
Hannah says she uses this face-mask all the time, so much so, it's nearly finished. She says it is amazing if you have got spots or are starting to break out, you just put this on and it does what it says on the tin, clears your skin. It is really good for detoxifying your skin and really just sorts your skin out. She explains that your skin can feel quite dry after using, so definitely moisturise straight after. Glam Glow is such a good brand and don't be put off by the fact this mask is totally black in colour, it kind of looks like a charcoal on your face haha.
Hannah finds this product the best for taking her makeup off really nicely. She says it is really good for dry skin, as she has really dry skin and this really helps as it doesn't dry her skin out and works amazing for her. It smells really nice too, really clean and the nice, fresh packaging gets a tick from me. I might actually try this as I always use Garnier Micellar Water and have been wanting a change. You can get this from boots for around £16.
I am sure a lot of people will agree with this one. Hannah says this is the best mascara she has ever used in her life. It literally it does everything for her. She has quite short eyelashes and she finds it really lengthens them and gives her amazing volume without going clumpy. Benefit mascara's are my all time favourite and I share the same love for this mascara, as she actually tried this product from me and had to go out and get it for herself.

Have you tried any of these products? What one would you like to try?

The Sky Garden, London

After visiting the Sky Garden in London a couple of weekend's ago with my Mum, I had to do a blog post to share, as it really is such an incredible and unique experience, a definite must see when in London. Situated 35 floors up in a beautiful glass building on Fenchurch Street, the Sky Garden provides a breathtaking 360 degree views over London. The inside is designed beautifully, with plants and flowers flourishing everywhere you look. It kind of feels like you are in an enormous, exotic greenhouse.
'The Sky Garden has been designed to create an open and vibrant place of leisure, offering visitors a rare chance to experience London from a different viewpoint'
It is a pretty huge space. After we took the elevator up, we decided to have a wander around the entire place, taking in the view from every angle possible. The photo's really don't do the view justice, you need to experience it first hand. I really loved the whole vibe of the place, everyone is dotted around enjoying the view, chatting and having drinks. It is a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

'Breathtaking views over London’s glittering skyline and a perfect cocktail destination                                            as the sun sets over the city and London comes to life.'
After a leisurely walk around the 3 floors, we headed back down to the main atrium area where the Sky Pod bar is located. Entering a more lively, but still very relaxed atmosphere, we headed over to the bar to get some yummy cocktails. We both opted for a berry mojito. They tasted as amazing as they looked, extremely fresh and delicious and enjoyed them whilst listening to the live band behind us, who were playing on a small platform in the middle of the garden, very cool!

It really was incredible experience. Stunning views, delicious cocktails, amazing atmosphere. It has such a cool, relaxed vibe, everyone enjoying themselves around you. It was the perfect way to enjoy a Saturday evening.

There is also 2 restaurant's there you can book for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The main restaurant 'Fenchurch Restaurant' seems pretty posh and expensive, alternatively the 'Darwin Brasserie' is more reasonably priced. You can also order light bites and snacks at the Sky Pod bar, if you are peckish, the sharing platters looked amazing.

If you are planning on visiting the Sky Garden you do have to book in advance, but it is free. You can apply for tickets on their website here and you can book a time slot. We went about 15 minutes before our time slot as there is still a queue and you need to give yourself time to go through security. I also would recommend going around 7 - 8 o'clock when the sunsets over London. If I went back again, I would definitely plan around seeing the sunset. It tells you on their website what time the sun will rise and set every day. You get an hour and a half allocated time up there, but I don't think they would know if you stayed longer as there is no system to check.

Have you been to the Sky Garden before? Would you like to go?
