New In | Make-up

Benefit 'Roller Lash' Mascara
Tanya Burr 'Let's travel the world' Lipgloss
Nars 'Valhalla' Eyeshadow
Nars 'Guyane' Lipgloss
Lancome 'L'absolu Rouge' Lipstick
For my birthday the other week I was ever so lucky to receive some new make-up bits as a present from my friends. I have had a Nars bronser before, which I loved, but I have never had anything else from the brand, so I was really excited to try these bits. The Nars 'Guyane' lipgloss is a perfect everyday nude shade, easy to apply, the formula is perfect and leaves the lips feeling moisturised and looking shiny. It's a 10/10 from me, I will be wearing this a lot I think (except when it's windy because hair stuck on lips - I can't deal). I haven't actually worn the Nars 'Valhalla' eyeshadow yet, it is a peachy, shimmery, gold colour. I'm excited to try it, as I think it will be perfect for an evening look. The Lancome 'L'absolu Rouge' lipstick is a pinky, red colour, with the logo beautifully engraved on the back (I love this part of luxury branded beauty products). I wore it the other day and its super moisturising and an all round lovely lipstick. Also the Tanya Burr lipstick in 'Lets travel the world' is such a gorgeous bright red colour. I have tried these lip-glosses before and I love the texture and consistency of them, so I'm excited to use this colour too. Lastly the Benefit 'Roller Lash' mascara, which I actually got free with an Elle magazine my mum bought me. I'm not sure there is a blogger out there that hasn't done a review of this recently, serious overkill. Having said that I actually really love it, I'm a big fan of Benefit mascaras and this one is no different. It makes your eyelashes look seriously long and I especially like it for the bottom lashes, as the brush is super thin. I think I'll be repurchasing this as an everyday mascara. I would say for an evening look, you would have to put a coat of another mascara on top to thicken the lashes more, as this mascara does leave the lashes looking very natural.

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think of the new Benefit mascara?

Grey Roll Neck and Nude Heels

Jumper - Zara
Ripped Jeans - Asos
Shoes - New Look
Clutch - Primark

This outfit is very simple, I know. But sometimes the simplist of outfit's are the best. I bought these suede, nude court shoes from New Look last week for a wedding I have coming up, and to be honest I am normally a girl who loves a huge heel. But there's something about these that are so dainty and pretty that I love. I promise there not as small as a kitten heel! I think nude shoes look gorgeous with jeans (Pintrest inspiration) and I just threw on a big chunky knit from Zara with them and added a bargain Primark clutch to complete the look.

I am currently avoiding dissertation by blogging just now. I have been transcribing focus groups and it just feels never ending right now. There have also been too many distractions this weekend, what with London Fashion Week on. I haven't stopped refreshing social media - I'm obsessed!

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend!

Current Favourite Nail Varnishes | Barry M

Barry M / 'Crush', 'Mocha', 'Lychee'

First things first, I think Barry M nail varnishes are my all time favourite, I never find any others within the same price point to be as good, plus they have such an extensive range of colours, there is always a new shade you can buy. 'Crush' and 'Mocha' are both matte nail varnish, a new discovery for me and I think they look really good, I love the finish of them. These colours are both gorgeous too, I have been wearing 'Mocha' constantly.

I think my favourite nail look in general right now is a winter nude and Lychee is perfect for this. It has definitely been my go to nail through the past few months. I am getting gel nails soon and I am swithering whether to get a nude colour or a colour similar to Mocha...

What nail colour do you prefer? Do you like Barry M's matte nail varnishes?

Leopard Print Sass

Playsuit - Topshop
Heels - New Look
Necklace - Accessorize
Clutch Bag - Accessorize

If I could wear one item in my wardrobe every day it would be this playsuit. Ever since I bought it way back in October, I have just wanted to wear it all the time. But obviously the nature of the item, it can only be worn on nights out (that I very frequently go on - 4th year is making me a hermit). So sometimes I just put it on for fun and wander about my flat because it makes me feel sassy! And there is nothing better than finding clothes that make you feel sassy! I have worn it on two nights out now, and I don't want to outfit repeat again, but it is just going to have to happen. I love it so much. I am hoping in summer I can wear it on holiday with some flip flops and huge sunnies and I will be the epitome of sass.

Not sure why I have written 'sass' so much in one blog post. Maybe I am delirious or maybe turning 22 this week has turned me into a SASS queen......ok I'll stop.

Casual University #ootd

Top - River Island
Leather Look Trousers - Oasis
Boots - Office
Backpack - New Look

I have been back at University for two weeks now, and I finally feel settled back into a routine. It is such a scary thought that I am in my final semester ever. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY LIFE? Anyway, today I thought I would share a casual everyday University outfit, that is super comfortable and easy to throw on in the morning, yet still has an element of style.

I really like this blouse I got from River Island recently. It is super versatile, as it goes with everything and can be worn for a day look or it can be dressed up for an evening look.  I love the cross over detailing to the front, it just makes a simple top a bit more interesting. I also bought the same top in plain white, in a silk material as well, as I love the style so much. I just think the fit is so nice, the oversized aspect is super comfy and I just thought the style really suited me.
I have teamed it with my purple leather look trousers from Oasis, which are currently a staple in my wardrobe. I have actually had them for a few years, but totally forgot about them and found them whilst clearing out my drawers. So since then I have been wearing them all the time. I am wearing my black boots from Office, that I wear most days to University and my colour block backpack from New Look. I go through stages of taking a big handbag or my backpack to University. I definitely prefer a backpack, it just makes life so much easier when your not lugging around a heavy bag on your arm, causing the circulation in your arm to stop haha.

Hope your all have a lovely week :)
