On The Twelfth Day Of Christmas - Christmas Day Make-up

Mac Studio Fix Foundation
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
Benefit Hervana Blusher
Bourjois Bronzing Powder
Naked Palette Eyeshadows in 'Naked' and 'Half Baked'
Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner
Benefit 'Bad Gal' Mascara
Elisabeth Arden Lipstick in 'Red Door Red'

For the last blog post before Christmas I thought I would share my Christmas Day make-up look. I am going for a neutral sparkly eye look using my Naked palette and a red lip, because when is a better excuse to wear a bold red lip than on Christmas day - I have actually done a blog post on this lipstick here because I love it so much!

Have a Merry Christmas!! <3

On The Eleventh Day Of Christmas - Santa Hat Nails

Gold Nail Varnish - Topshop 'Heart of Gold'
Red Nail Varnish - Kiko
White Nail Varnish - Models Own 'Snow White'

I love all these nail varnishes individually. The red is beautiful at this time of year, as is the gold, and a white nail is super chic all year round. So when using all these lovely nail colours together, I decided to make some festive themed nails with cute little santa hats to wear for Christmas! This was actually super simple, not too fiddly to do and I think it looks really effective alternating the santa hats on my nails with the sparkly gold colour!

What do you think?

On The Ninth and Tenth Day Of Christmas - Leopard Print Coat

Coat - New Look (Old)
Jeans - ASOS
Top - Forever 21
Boots - Office
Bag - Accessorize

I have been obsessed with wearing this leopard print fur coat recently (and leopard print clothing in general). I love wearing fur coats and this one just adds a bit of style to a casual everyday outfit. It is also super comfy and cosy - bonus! I have teamed it with a simple black roll neck top and a pair of ripped jeans. I have been wanting a pair of ripped jeans for months now, but have never been able to find the perfect pair. But allas I have found some I love. I actually ordered these from ASOS - I know, ordering jeans online, I must be mad. Luckily they fitted perfectly and I am not sure I have taken them off since. My bag adds a bit of colour to the look and I love the snakeskin texture on it. I normally lug around a huge handbag with my laptop in it for Uni, so I have been loving being able to just use a small bag now I have finished for the holidays!

Today has been spent putting Christmas lights up outside my house, watching Christmas movies and making cheesecake mmmm :)

On The Eighth Day Of Christmas - Christmas Scents

My candle obsession continues....

Winter is probably the time I use candles the most, they just make the flat feel warmer and are perfect for cosy nights in. I love the Yankee 'salted caramel' candle as a staple over winter, but I thought I would focus this post on Christmas scents, after all it is 5 days until Christmas wooo!

The mini 'Christmas Eve' Yankee Candle was part of a Secret Santa present from my beautiful friend Suzy and it came in a little Yankee Candle holder, which is so cute! It is a sort of traditional fruity Christmasy scent and I am so excited to burn it in the run up until Christmas. I get really excited about these kind of mini Christmas themed candles and they are perfect for Christmas gifts.

The other is a Wax Lyrical candle in 'Gingerbread' (aka gingerbread scented), which I bought from a farm shop last weekend and oh my god it smells incredible. It is a very, very sweet scent, so if you don't like sweet candles then you wouldn't like it, but I love that so it is perfect for me!

What are your favourite candle scents for Christmas time?

On The Seventh Day Of Christmas - Smart Casual Winter #ootd

Top - H&M
Jeans - Zara
Boots - Zara
Jacket - Miss Selfridge
Scarf - Accessorize

This outfit is perfect for days over the festive period when you need to be dressed a bit smarter than a usual every day outfit, for example for trips to the pantomime or for lunches and dinners out with friends and family. This look is pretty simple but it looks effortlessly stylish - it would even work for a day to night look. I also love this fur scarf from Accessorize - it is a staple in my wardrobe over winter, as it adds some texture and jazzes up an outfit a little! Secretly this outfit is just giving me another excuse to wear my favourite boots!

On The Sixth Day Of Christmas - Sparkly Nails

What is a Christmas outfit without a good sparkly nail? I love red and gold nails at Christmas time, but I decided to go for something different for my Christmas Party with my Uni girls tonight. I used a Nails Inc nail varnish in a pastel pink colour (doesn't seem to have a name) for a base colour with Model's Own 'Disco Mix' on top, which is a gorgeous sparkly dark purple colour. I love this look - it is super girly and perfect for a Christmas Party. I also put on a top coat, which is highly advisable with a sparkly nail, as it prevents it from being an uneven texture and mainly stops it catching on your hair!

I had my final University hand in today for the year and it feels SO good - I can finally chill a bit more and get right into enjoying the festive period - WOO :)

On The Fifth Day Of Christmas - Christmas Wrapping

Wrapping Paper - Clintons
Ribbon - Paperchase
Plain Gift Tags - Paperchase
Mini Christmas Gift Boxes - Accessorize
Christmas Stickers - Accessorize

Last night I started wrapping some Christmas presents yaaay!
I get quite into wrapping presents and love making extra effort to make them look pretty. I decided to make my own customised gift tags this year so I bought some plain gift tags from Paperchase and decorated them by writing people's names in gold nail varnish and covering them in Christmas stickers. I think they look so cute even although I may have got slightly carried away with the stickers, but overall I think there a nice personalised touch. I even added some candy canes to some gift tags, which is super cute and festive!

I would love to see other cute customised gift wrapping ideas?

On The Third/Forth Day of Christmas - The Perfect Red Lip

Elizabeth Arden - Red Door Red
Whoops I missed a day so today's post is the third and forth day of Christmas haha.

I actually bought this lipstick last December after watching Tanya Burr's Christmas Make-up Tutorial and I just had to go out and buy it. I wore it over the Christmas period on nights out and on Christmas day and will be wearing it again on Christmas day this year. It is just the most beautiful red colour and is super festive - perfect for the Christmas party season. I also think this lipstick would be amazing as a Christmas gift and I love that it has the Elizabeth Arden logo printed on it!

On The Second Day Of Christmas - A Festive Lush Haul

 What girl doesn't love Lush?

I recently left my work to focus on University (forth year is hell) and they got me the most amazing leaving present's from Lush. Lush always bring out an incredible range of Christmas themed product's with festive bath bombs, shower gels and lip scrubs. They have tons of Christmas themed products here. (I also love the 'Christmas Penguin' and 'Candy Mountain'.)

This year they are using little scarfs to tie up presents into a little package. I think is such a lovely touch! I am so excited for the amount of baths I will be having over the festive season and about how constantly glittery I will be from the 'Star Light, Star Bright' bath melt. The Santa's lip scrub is also so good, I had never tried a Lush lip scrub before but they make your lifts feel so soft and incredible.

Thank you to all my work girlies <3

On The First Day Of Christmas - Christmas Party Look #1

Dress - Motel Rocks
Boots - Zara
Clutch - Accessorize

I have decided to blog every day for the twelve day's up until Christmas for a bit of fun starting today :)

I actually got this dress last December from Motel and wore it to my work Christmas party last year. I love wearing this dress as it is such a flattering shape and only needs simple accessories to complete the look. The only issue is that I am unable to wear a bra with it, therefore the nipples are on display, so I have to wear nipple daisies to cease exposure haha. It is the perfect dress for a Christmas party - teamed with a pair of killer heels, a red lip and a sparkly clutch! I am actually wearing this outfit to my Dad's 50th Party tonight, although I do have a few other options as I change my mind as often as the wind.

P.s Can we just take a minute to appreciate these boots...MY GOD I AM IN LOVE. I even did a blog post specifically on them here. I am so excited to wear them out tonight for the first time!

Black and Nude #ootd

Black Turtle Neck Top - Forever 21
Nude Skirt - Forever 21
Fur Jacket - My Grandma's
Boots - Office
Bag - Turkish Market

I thought I would share this simple #ootd I wore recently to University. I am currently loving wearing turtle neck tops/jumpers, I think they make an outfit look instantly chic. I teamed this black one with a nude skirt, both from Forever 21. I really like the introduction of nude in an outfit to break up the endless amounts of black I wear. It's started to get pretty chilly up in Aberdeen so the fur jackets have finally made an appearance after being packed away since last winter. (I did actually wear tights when I wore this outfit out as it is so cold- but it looks better without haha)
